AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

One of my friends and his family have been going through a very tough life for almost 20+ years. It does make me feel sad, but I ask the Divine Grace to be upon that family and let His will be done. So when we hear about people suffering for a long time, especially someone who is a close friend, how should we face this emotionally? πŸ«‚β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ·

Suffering is everywhere. There is not a single person who is not suffering one way or another. What is surprising is that human beings hardly learn. They continue with the same ways of life, attachments, and desires. They hardly seek anything higher and greater. Suffering comes to remind us of the impermanence of all our apparent joys and sorrows so that we can look upwards and inwards.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
