AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I have been living away from home for almost 9 years for my studies, and currently study in a foreign country. I usually donโ€™t get much lonely and even if I, I get comfortable on remembering the Mother. But for sometime, I am getting too emotional on festivals such as today, which usually results in a fever and impacts my work. How should I deal with it?๐Ÿก๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿงธโ˜•

It is most likely the result of home-sickness arising out of loneliness. Certain circumstances and situations are typically associated in the mind with home or the place where one grew up. They remind us of the fact of being away and aggravate our sense of loneliness.

One needs to grow wide and assimilate the good things of every culture and see that fundamentally human beings are the same deep within. At the same time it is important to stay busy so that there is little time to be bored or brood.

Play some games or do exercises regularly to boost up your immune system naturally. Find some activities that can give you natural joy especially reading and learning new things.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da

One can fully understand the space from which this question comes.
