…and telling Mother that is is unbearable and Mother looked deeply into his wounds and then he felt that his body was having a complete burning sensation and Mother angrily said that if you canโt do this yoga then leave . So he left and his pain subsided gradually and when he reached his hometown it completely stopped. This quiet disturbed me. So please help me understand. You have always said that Mother is there always helping us with all her love and compassion.
So when you are being deeply troubled with things like these, where we are not able to bear, naturally we seek Motherโs help. Then why did she say if you are not able to endure this then go.ย After hearing this, I am quite disturbed as I am not sure how to understand this. So please explain.
There have been instances of the Mother scolding for example to Amal Kiran, Nirod da, Priti Dasgupta and Amrita. She has herself mentioned that She uses this very rarely as it can be misunderstood. But in fact it is an occult action and a very powerful goes out to drive away some deep insincerity that has taken the form of certain outer disturbances. All these people actually became aware of the inner insincerity and the wrong forces were driven away from them. Of course She seldom uses it knowing the lack of surrender of the sadhaka who would prefer the longer route.
Quite a few yogis use this method, though rarely consciously, to drive away falsehood. Even Lord Rama, Sri Krishna, Sita Mata, Shiva, Parvati, Kali, Durga, even goddess Lakshmi and Saraswati have been known to repel the Asuric forces, tendencies etc forcefully. To the surrendered bhakta it is invigorating but if one cannot bear the intense pressure for the change then She would never use it. It is only for the truly surrendered ones who are keen to grow fast and are ready for everything that sincerity may demand.
Of course Sri Aurobindo never used this method or put any pressure of transformation. He let each one grow their own way and at their pace. But the Mother is Mother who will do everything to help her child progress fast and be free of all fear.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
