AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dear Da, I’m a single child. I always have this question: why don’t I have a sibling with whom I can share things? Also, my parents have a greater realisation of the Divine, so whenever I try something out of spirituality or try to get mixed with society, they get to know things from within and always doubt my intentions and try to keep me under their influence. 😢🌸👨🏻‍👩🏻‍👧🏻‍👦🏻🍃[…]

And I always agree with what my parents say, but there’s some limit, right? I don’t want this thing da. Like, if I want to share something, there’s no one. If I want to mix with people, they doubt. What should I do? I always question that why me only? I’ve told The Mother that from now on, you are my friend. But she’s also Divine, so she never supports me with material things. I’m Human, I also want some life.

First thing is to discover the unique person you are, your unique goals, strengths and weaknesses, rather than comparing yourself with anyone or seeking validation from parents. Discover your own life and you are likely to find more friends. As to the Divine, He is no doubt the best friend and He does speak to us in the quietude of the heart and through the language of outer events and inner states.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I yearn to break free from the impulses of this vital-level attachment—a struggle I have been engaged in for quite some time. I can clearly observe its surges, its mechanisms, and the way it weaves a web of will to control my mind and inflict pain upon me. 😣🙏🏻🍂🦋[…]

I am sure The Mother will pull you out through everything. Keep your faith and aspiration growing. Offer all this pain and surrender yourself completely to Her. She will turn the tears into pearls of wisdom and strength.

Sending my prayers and Her Love for swiftly emerging out of this pain and taking once again the royal road to progress…
