The Mother replied, “During the French Revolution, I myself was active in four different individuals.” You have stated that Amrita-da was, in fact, Michelangelo. How are we to understand this?
These are speculations based on certain statements neither confirmed nor denied by The Mother and Sri Aurobindo. The Mother did speak of the painting of Mona Lisa which was based on her. She didn’t confirm whether She is referring to her physical presence or subtle. What I have heard is that while something of Sri Aurobindo was in Leonardo Da Vinci, something of Amrita da was in Michel Angelo. So too with the four emanations of the Mother that you mention. These carried something or the other of the Divine Mother, for example her victorious spirit was present in Murat. She is speaking of the different elements of her personality and not of the psychic being.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
