What should be the attitude towards those who resist trying to be open to the Motherโs force? Each one is unique and each will have a different way of working, so how to work in such an atmosphere? Because at times one gets labelled as thinking too much of oneself if one tries to work on oneself.
The thumb rule of working in any collective space is to stay focused upon one’s own inner connection with The Mother, deepening it more and more. One should ignore the rest. The more we try to convince others, the more they resist. The only opening worthwhile is when it happens spontaneously from within. In the absence of this opening, one has to simply accept that the persons resisting are not yet ready.
What one can however do is to create a field, a collective atmosphere in the workspace that breathes the right atmosphere, through some sayings, pictures, put on the walls as well as engaging in collective reading, once a week or so, of The Mother’s and Sri Aurobindo’s writings on Education. If questions come up, they can always be sent.ย
It also helps greatly to organise trips from time to time to this place to receive the direct touch and the subtle atmosphere.

There are other writings also that are somewhat aligned to the Integral Education, for example the book by Partho Bhattacharya. In any case collective work is always a slow difficult and often painful labour. One has to reckon with the little results that are like small steps towards the goal. What is however indispensable is that there should be one person completely given to the ideal and I think in the setting there, the onus of being an instrument is on you.
