AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

My question is: Namaste Alok Da. I was reading some predictions related to Pakistan and China by the Mother and Sri Aurobindo on the website. Was the Mother referring to a future event that is yet to manifest, or was this vision specific to that time period and did not occur due to divine intervention or a change in the working of forces? Is there any future possibility where China might invade India? 🌏🔎

The Mother was referring to a possibility that was trying to manifest since the formation of Communist China in 1949. Sri Aurobindo also spoke about the threat from Red China through Tibet. I suppose the threat was primarily till the end of Maoist regime in 1976. But She also speak about their lunar origin and the possibility of a Sino-American conflict, of which India might be a theatre. It seems that the possibility, though still there, has diminished as China has also started moving somewhat away from a rigid Maoist Communist ideology.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I believe that reading The Secret of the Vedas by Sri Aurobindo gives us the real insight into the meaning of the Vedas and nothing more is needed for spiritual practitioners or for those who are looking to gain genuine spiritual insights. 📚🕉️[…]

The Secret of the Vedas was my first book too along with The Synthesis of Yoga. While it is no doubt a precious treasure (I had felt floating on cloud nine while reading it), it is certainly not enough for the Integral Yoga. Besides, apart from the conceptual understanding, the actual details of the practice for today’s practitioners is …
