AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

The previous structures of my life continue to collapse. Our family business has now closed, my house is for sale and my husband has asked for a separation. And through all the heartbreak, shocks and crises, I feel closer and closer to The Mother and the Divine presence. ❤️‍🩹☺️🙏🏻🪷[…]

Thank you for your talks, they are of such comfort. If you have any guidance for me, I’d be grateful.

I can understand the difficult situation in your life and send my prayers. Yes, sometimes this happens because something better has been planned for us by Fate. We have to wait and discover it and have faith in the Divine Grace that uses everything to draw us closer and closer to the Divine. Meanwhile, sending you words of The Mother that, as always, not only show us the way but also helps us walk through it.

‘”At the very moment when everything seems to go from bad to worse, it is then that we must make a supreme act of faith and know that the Grace will never fail us.”

The hours before the dawn are always the darkest.

The servitude just before freedom comes is the most painful of all.

But in the heart endowed with faith burns the eternal flame of hope which leaves no room for discouragement.’

May Her Love and Grace be with you through it all.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Complete sexual mastery is never easy and is indispensable mainly for the physical transformation part. The ascension of consciousness, glimpse of the Divine can take place without the complete conquest.

As to the process of sexual mastery, there is no simple answer to this most common difficulty especially among male disciples. The general advice is to first weaken the urge and the impulse through Samyama, that is to self…

My 8-year-old daughter wanted to understand the meaning of this quote by Sri Aurobindo. Can u please explain? The ideal Yogi is not a withdrawn and pent-up force, but ever engaged in doing good to all creatures, either by the flood of the divine energy that he pours on the world or by himself standing in the front of humanity, its leader in the march and the battle, but unbound by his works and superior to his personality. 🌼🙏🏻

It means that a yogi is not someone cut off from life and work and people. He engages with everything but in a new and different way. He has access to a greater divine knowledge, a truer divine love, a more intense divine …

I am enjoying your talk on Krishna and the elegant way you weave the work of Sri Krishna into our very own Lord and the Mother. Although far from the Ashram, your words help ground me in my aspiration. If I may, I would like to add a small suggestion. 🌍🙏🏻[…]
