AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I read on your AuroMaa page the following: “Among the core processes is the triple effort of aspiration, rejection and surrender. Aspiration is aided by a concentration in the heart on the image of the Divine Mother since it is She who ignites this fire and sustains it and makes it grow brighter and stronger like the flame of Agni in the Vedas. 🔥🕯️🌸🙏🏻 […]

From our side we can feed this fire through Remembrance and Offering of all we do and have and are.” I don’t understand what you mean by the image of the Divine Mother. Can you please specify which Goddess and which Form?

In the context of the Integral Yoga, it is the Divine Mother in her present earthly embodiment. Her present earthly embodiment is with the sole purpose of transformation. She embodies the Will for transformation; hence for the Integral Yoga, Sri Aurobindo refers to her present embodiment (as Mirra Alfassa). All forms of the Mother is each a power with a certain purpose. But this embodiment is for the transformation. Hence, those who are seekers and candidates for the Integral Yoga meditate upon Her.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I am grateful for your guidance in this situation. Alok da, I feel that remaining silent, offering the hurt to the Divine, and praying for peace within myself and others would be easier for me.  But I have one doubt: what if the other person interprets my silence as weakness and continues to hurt or insult me? 🕊️🛡️🌿🙏🏻[…]

Those who indulge in hurting others are already hurtling downwards. They will continue to do what they are habituated to doing. Leave them to their destiny. By getting into a retaliatory fight with them you would only hurt yourself by delaying your journey and gravitating downwards towards them. Take their insults as …
