AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

What is being puffed up by righteousness? You said so before – what is meant by that? 🤨🌼🪶

Self-righteousness means pride, believing oneself to be good, or always morally right, or simply superior to others in some way. It is a form of Sattwic ego which makes us stuck in our righteousness, thereby prevents us from progressing further towards greater spiritual life. Pride and feelings of superiority take away from us the aspiration for further spiritual progress. Lack of humility further opens the doors to every kind of fall.
