Auroville is the Mother’s occult experiment to realise human unity. It is also to prepare the earth for a higher spiritual evolution. It is for this purpose that humanity is variously represented and all fields and activities included in this grand evolutionary process. All the past basis of unifying mankind such as religion, sects, ideologies, having failed have been replaced by the primary focus on the evolution of a New Consciousness that is vast enough to include all types of humanity and plastic enough to include all human activities.
Auroville is a city destined to fulfil the divine dream of Unity in Diversity on a basis higher than Religion and Reason. It is the city of dawn, the city the earth needs, the city of the future.
