AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

These days, I see many people who are unhappy and unsatisfied with their jobs, even when the pay is good. They are only continuing to do it because of their financial circumstances. πŸ˜£πŸ’πŸ’Έ[…]

They say that they would leave their jobs if they ever got the chance. I, too, believe that job satisfaction is more important than the paycheck. Is this dissatisfaction a sign that they are on the wrong path? What to do when you can’t pursue something you really want to do and feel stuck at work? I feel like a lot of people are forced to do work they don’t necessarily enjoy.Β

It is a good sign if one is dissatisfied with life as it is today. It is an even better sign if one is seeking inner satisfaction through a work rather than the paycheck. Unfortunately, such people are still few, though growing in number. Yet even when they become aware, they are unable to shift because it needs great courage and aspiration to break or come out of the spell of glamour, comfort and money.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
