AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Some one said in an online Pathachakra that Sri Aurobindo directed some disciples to leave the Ashram if they are not believing Sri Maa as the Divine Mother. How far this is based on facts?

He did not direct but his brother Barin and Dilip Kumar Roy eventually ended up leaving the Ashram.

One reason attributed to their departure is their lack of faith in the Mother.

There was also another disciple whom Sri Aurobindo did suggest that if he is unable to have faith in the Mother and listen to Her, it may be better for him to be elsewhere.

Sri Aurobindo had made it abundantly clear that the entire arrangement in the Ashram including the progress of the sadhaks was completely in the Mother’s hands. He also made it abundantly clear that opening to the Mother is the key to this Yoga. So claiming to be in the Yoga but refusing to have faith in the Mother or opening to Her is in itself a sign that one is not serious about the Yoga itself.

Affectionately,

Alok da.

The chances of realising the Divine are much higher during the Hour of God. It magnifies everything. One small mistake and the consequences can be disastrous. Equally, a little effort and one progresses by a leap. The Mother guides us: ‘Finally, I am fully convinced…

My deception, which I did for a good purpose (for saving integrity within the family), is revealed and I am bashed out like anything. I don’t complain here, but I realised whatever the purpose may be, a deception is a deception. The Mother helped me learn a great lesson here. Can you please explain? 😥👨🏻‍👩🏻‍👧🏻‍👦🏻🌹🦋

It is difficult to say anything as i do not know what exactly happened. Also it depends upon what you mean by conscious deception as well as the intent behind it. There is also deception done in good faith. The worst yet the …
