AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I wanted to ask you about our Attitude towards doing our daily work. There are certain activities/ work, doing which we feel happy and enthusiastic and willingly these activities are done. But, there are certain activities that we do not enjoy doing, but still we need to do them. 🧑🏼‍🏭😊🙏🏻🌸[…]

Why does such a difference arise? In the light of Nishkama Karma, where does all this stand? How can we develop an attitude of equanimity in all that we do?

Yes, that is quite the experience of those who are no more moved by the push and pull of ambition and desires. There, the only motivation is money and position. But when these two normal prompters are missing, then the true swabhava and swadharma have a chance to emerge. If the old motives are going but the true impulsion, the work we are meant to do has not yet emerged, then that this kind of problem is often felt. During this transition, which may be short or long, this state can intervene. One has to then remember that the work one is doing is a preparation of the consciousness so that our nature develops the elements necessary for the Yoga and the Work that She intends you to do. It is a question of shifting the focus, of doing work as a necessary part of the discovery of the Divine within. So during the work one can continue to concentrate in the heart on Her Presence and do it as an offering to Her, as well as you can and leave the rest to Her.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Wasn’t she doing yoga of the cells at that time? And why didn’t she want to instruct the disciple about the mind? 🧬✨🙏🏻

It is about establishing the principle of the Overmind fully in the cells as part of the cellular yoga.

As to giving instructions about the Mind, all that She had already done in abundance. To keep asking that would mean bringing Her back to the Mind which would eventually impact the most important work She is here to do.
