My question is: in all religions, there is a concept of calling out to God in a time of need, anxiety, or other tough states of mind. My question is, calling out to The Mother in such a time, is it more a request for direct intercession (like Prahlad and Lord Narasimha) or more a reminder to ourselves to be less fearful? 👑🌌♾️🛡️

In my college, I have a friend who is a good person, but she often speaks in a low-energy, negative way—mainly complaining, criticizing, or focusing on things she wants but doesn’t have. As a westerner reading Sri Aurobindo and the Mother alone here in Canada, I don’t always understand references that are made in the writings or podcasts.
