AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Can we dive deeper? What is the nature of the start and the repetition—and why does it seem we never reach the end?♾️🌊⚓

Diving deep is not as simple. It takes years of persistent practice unless a rare soul that has done its homework of purification in the previous life. A preliminary purification so that the strong desires, the grip of the ego is loosened is necessary for most. It is to consciously cultivate a Sattwic balance which includes certain qualities such as unselfishness, kindness, faith, regular swadhyaya, etc. Along with that comes the practice of equanimity and peace under various situations of life. This takes time. Once this fundamental foundation is established then the rest comes more easily. It is like the foundation upon which the house of the new consciousness has to be erected.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
