Questions on Mother, Sri Aurobindo and Savitri

I was reading the small book called ‘The Mother on Japan’. There She explained how that being tried to suck the life force out of her, how she battled on the occult level and finally was successful in getting rid of that flu. She found the root cause of that flu is the sudden deaths of soldiers who weren’t aware of their own death which separated them from their physical bodies. The decomposition of the vital force of this event caused havoc. People who came in contact with this cloud caught the flu, third day they used to die of they feared too much. On the 7th day they were completely cured. All this was in Jan 1919, fast forward to March 2019, exactly after a hundred years, we get Covid. But what’s the cause? Why this pandemic has to or must occur every 100 years. I’ve read many theories on this and I concluded with the fact that it’s all man made. But after reading the Mother’s words, I’m wondering is there any man’s evil mind behind the Covid or something like 1919 happened and we all caught the decomposed vital cloud? If yes where did this cloud originate from?😶‍🌫️☁️🦠🧬

There is a cyclic aspect in the movement of Time and forces and tendencies do try to repeat themselves taking advantage of this cyclic movement.

My friend told me that writing Savitri is as beneficial as reading it and it seems that The Mother has said it, please let me know where do I find it, which source. If yes, please tell me more about it. I’d LOVE to write Savitri daily, a notebook for only writing Savitri. I want to start it with more clarity in this regard so that I start it with pure enthusiasm and bliss.✍️🕊️🤍♾️

I have not read this statement of the Mother unless She said it personally to a disciple. Probably Pandit ji wrote something like this. What

I keep posting quotes and words of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother on WhatsApp and other social media platforms because I can’t keep the bliss I get after reading Them. The world needs to know the ecstatic nectar of their words. Last year I attended various camps conducted by Sri Aurobindo Society and Auroville. They just ridicule that I’ve joined “Ashram” and I’m asked to not run away from the house possibly wearing a white saree and shun all my responsibilities here. My neighbour is 60 year old, he scolds me to turning my head to Ashram because according to him I should be doing all this at 60,🌟🪷🧘‍♀️☀️

I would simply smile at their folly. If they insist, I would point out the story of Nachiketa in the Katha Upanishad. If they are

I am disturbing you a lot sir..but hear me out …this is my last question ..I promise …..when will this supramental consciousness come ?? All I see around myself is adharma …no one is following the gurus of traditional yoga and people have made Sri Aurobindo a political figure rather than an avatar by the masses…people are getting intoxicated for looking “cool” and what not ..the population of women smokers have increased…🌟🟡👑⚡🔽

If I were to see it in the light of the writings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother applying my intuition to it, I would

Isn’t it better to forget these words of Kunti? While it is one thing to take what comes in the right attitude, it is different to ask for troubles. Perhaps it will be better to directly ask that we may never forget Her, without specifying any outer conditions. Or perhaps better to ask for the best outer conditions and the best inner attitude together? The Mother’s comment on steel plates vs gold plates in dining room comes to mind. Can you please elaborate the ‘gold and steel plate’ concept?🍽️🪷🧘🌳✨

It refers to a story when steel plates replaced the porclein dishes in the Ashram dining room. The disciples were happy with the change. But

I don’t have any knowledge of meditation yet, so how can I make my day useful for Mother? During the day, I keep chanting Maa Maa. I stay at home, I spend some time in front of Maa’s picture, in the evening I go to the cricket academy, then I watch one of your videos and how can I make my Sadhana and day useful for Maa?🧘🕉️🪔🙏

To open to the Mother by whatever means, – meditation upon her, taking her name, bhakti, service, thinking of her, reading her books, are all

My friend’s uncle might be suffering from cancer in his mouth, so they are taking him to the doctor, so my friend said you also come along, we will first go to Gurudev and then we will show him to the doctor in the morning, that friend is also associated with Gurudev, so there is no problem in going with Dada but there is no desire to go to Gurudev’s place, only Mother, so should I go with him or not?🎗️🤕🩺💊

It is the inner motive that is most important. The Mother is everywhere and in everything. Carry Her in your heart and Her Love and

I have picked some paras from what you shared with me. “I said that between the age of eighteen and twenty I had attained a conscious and constant union with the divine Presence and that I had done it all alone, with absolutely nobody to help me, not even books, you understand! When I found one—here came to my hands a little later Vivekananda’s Raja Yoga—it seemed to me so wonderful a thing, you see, that someone could explain something to me. This made me gain in a few months what would have perhaps taken me years to do.”🕊️🤍♾️🌏

Here is Sri Aurobindo’s letter that, in a way, explains the birth and life, not only of The Mother but of all Avatars.

“…you carry in yourself all the obstacles necessary to make your realization perfect. Always you will see that within you the shadow and the light are equal: you have an ability, you also have the negation of this ability. But, if you discover a very black hole, a thick shadow, be sure that somewhere in you there is a great light. It is up to you to know how to use the one to realize the other.”― The Mother. So how with our ordinary and inner being we do this? What does this mean? …. As this is so important I feel so…..dada you speak about it please🧱🧗🚧

When one starts the spiritual journey there are quite a number of movements in one’s nature that contradict the journey such as doubts, fears, vanity,

I have a question, and I hope you will forgive me if it sounds a little confusing. I work in one of the departments of the Ashram. I have joined this place to Serve Her and to contact Her inwardly. But the atmosphere there is quite tough and almost everyone is scolded frequently, sometimes with reason and sometimes without. While the scolding itself is not the real difficulty, what troubles me more is that in a place where we are meant to grow inwardly and deepen our contact with the Divine, that sense of presence feels almost lost. This leads me to my deeper question: Is working the department is Her Only Work. Or is there something I am failing to understand or align with inwardly?🪷🧘🌅🌳

Sri Aurobindo and The Mother have spoken of the two atmospheres of the Ashram. There is first and foremost the atmosphere that pervades the place
