It means that sometimes we enter into unnecessary battles within ourselves on small issues and it is this that the adverse forces use to keep pressing upon and creating a storm in a teacup. Instead, we should focus more on the positive growth through aspiration and sincere surrender. We need not struggle unnecessarily against every dark spot in the sheet. Instead, we should work towards changing the entire sheet itself. The more we pay attention to the adverse forces that are always engaged in showing us the faults, the worse it gets. Instead, we ‘should laugh at the adversary’ as the Mother says and keep inching towards the goal in sight.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
