AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I am 45 years old. My father passed away in 2021. When he was bedridden and unable to walk, my sister-in-law treated him very poorly. My brother’s behavior was equally bad; he would visit like a ‘visiting doctor’ for just a few minutes and stay away so that my father wouldn’t even see him. Even when I told him that Father was calling for him, he refused to come.💔🛤️↔️

I completely understand your pain. As this is growing more common and since we cannot change people, the only workable solution is to have proper old age homes or community homes. It somehow also speaks of the poor values inculcated by your brother and sister-in-law. In such instances some other child should have stepped forward and taken care. Anyways what is done is done. One must learn the lessons and move forward.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

The bliss world created here through the process of evolutionary manifestation will be far more perfect. Each being will carry something of Krishna, will be krishnamaya. There ..

What was Mother’s view of classical music? I mean, were there composers that she believed could really be uplifting spiritually? I am interested, as it was around the turn of the 20th  century, in her young age and youth, that a coarser movement in music came to evolve. 🎶🎼😊🙏🏻🪷[…]
