AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I could not getย  answer of this question i.e. GOLDEN DAY. I could not get the details about this event. Does any physical force descend on the day at any spot of Pondichery/Auroville?๐ŸŒ…โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒโœจ

The golden day is the day when the work undertaken by Sri Aurobindo to establish the Supramental Consciousness upon earth was completed. Sri Aurobindo had withdrawn from the physical world to prepare the earth and the cosmic forces from behind for this final phase of the Work. The Mother continued to prepare the sample humanity to receive the Supramental Consciousness. On the 29th February 1956, the doors dividing our world from the Supramental were opened by the Mother and the Supramental Consciousness started coming down upon earth sowing the seeds of the New Creation, the beginning of the Supramental Manifestation. It is called as the golden day because golden is the colour of the Supramental World and the lid separating it from our world is the golden lid. It is also called as the Day of the Lord because the Supermind is the original Creator and Lord. Though the manifestation of the Supermind on a collective level took place during the Mother’s group meditation in the Ashram playground, its effects have hence started everywhere. There was no Auroville then. There were about five people who felt something of an unprecedented kind had happened, two of whom were in the Ashram and three were outside. Their names are not important since it was an act of Her Grace that they felt it.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I have Savitri, The Life Divine, and some other books written by M. P. Pandit ji. Could you kindly suggest which book they should read first in Hindi to understand more about the Mother and Sri Aurobindo?๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ“•๐Ÿชท๐Ÿ“œ
