Yes very much so. Yogis of the stature of Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Yogananda, Srila Prabhupad and of course Sri Aurobindo regard him as such. Christ received some of his teachings from Buddhist Masters and Vaishnava Saints in Kashmir.

Love and Compassion for the weak, the downtrodden, and the lowly.
What is His mission for humanity?
To humanise the animal barbarians.
Even today is it possible to have His vision?
Yes, why not.
What is to be derived from Jesus to the present humanity?
Each Avatar has brought something for earth and his gifts remain relevant for the layer of humanity at that level. The barbaric human beings still need Christ.
Of course Christ has little to do with Christianity and the Bible and the institutionalized organised Church built around his name.
