I know deep down that She is the only refuge, but I feel entirely unable to connect with Her as I once did. Have I sunk too far into the darkness to find Her Grace, and how do I open myself to Her help from this place of despair?

One can never be lost enough as to not connect with Her. In fact, the more we feel lost, the more we should call Her and connect with Her. Who else would one call? She is The Mother, and She would very much want that Her children call Her in distress rather than sink into despair. There is no error She cannot rectify, no mistake She cannot repair, no difficulty She cannot solve, no darkness where Her Light cannot reach and from which Her Love cannot pull us out, no loneliness She cannot heal. Here is a passage She has herself written.

‘and prepare for everything; bearing everything within herself, she owns nothing that does not belong to all, and because she reigns over all, she is the servant of all; that is why all, great and small, who want to be kings with her and gods in her, become, like her, not despots but servitors among their brethren.’

At the same time, one must share everything with the family and close friends. They are there to help us. Who doesn’t make mistakes. The only thing required is to learn from them, grow and progress.
