It was in Hindi, and the voice said, “Mein Garud bol raha hun aur tumhe 1 crore baar Ram Naam likhna hoga” (in English, “I am Garuda speaking, and you need to write Ram Naam 1 crore times”). The instruction was very clear and crisp, and it never came back again. I tried to write it 1 crore times, but I am not consistent in it, nor am I a very serious sadhak. I have so many mistakes and wrong habits in me. My question is: was it just a mind/ego play as I was reading some spiritual books at that time, or is there actual truth to it, and should I complete 1 crore Ram Naam as instructed? What else can I do about it?
Garuda is the power of the Divine that destroys the hostile forces that inject the venom of anger, hate, jealousy, fear and other such negative energies. As a vehicle of Vishnu, it prepares the path for the action of the great God.

Garuda deva has seen some higher possibility in you and came to caution and prepare you, to shed the wrong habits and fulfil your true destiny as an instrument of the Divine.
