Right-side lying brings calm and inwardness, whereas supine posture induces subtle anxiety. I wonder whether this lateral dominance reflects any deeper energetic or psycho-spiritual structure, or if it is purely mechanical. Should this tendency be consciously balanced, or simply observed without interference?๐ด๐ค๐
There is indeed a subtle difference in the side one sleeps. Even during the day there is a switching between nostril dominance. It is possibly related to the activation of the gross or subtle nerves. Nevertheless it is best to switch sides as both are needed for a harmonious and balanced functioning of the human system.
