As we see in the poem itself, Sri Aurobindo describes these two aspects of Sri Krishna. One is the Universal or Cosmic Divine hidden in the heart of Space and Time, the Self of self, the World Soul is we like. He is also the Immanent Divine hidden in the heart of man as a personal Presence. He is at once, the Overmind Godhead as well as the One Universal Self. These two are to be seen as one. We can approach Him as the Universal Divine hidden in all things, Vasudeva. Or we can discover Him as the eternal Avatar in man who draws our souls towards Himself (the flute is a symbol of the Divine Call) as well as carries us through the journey, sealing our soul to His as a lover and friend (Clasp and Kiss).
Affectionately,
Alok da
