Besides since these prayers are written in identification with the earth nature we can say that She is praying on behalf of all of us, for the earth.

It depends. Generally if the couple are not in sync with core issues, and if instead of accepting if not supporting each other, they are quarreling then surely it is better to separate. However one has to consider other factors …
