Well this question has been answered by Sri Aurobindo, “The Mother prays to teach us to pray”.
Besides since these prayers are written in identification with the earth nature we can say that She is praying on behalf of all of us, for the earth.
Dada, I love reading discourses with disciples; how did some of them go away? To even share a glance with them is a Grace. To know about them is itself a Grace; then why does one get separated or distant? I get scared sometimes: what if my foolishness in dealing with my vices takes me far from them… ☹️🙏🏻🌼🪷
