It is because though She is the Divine Mother, She has descended here for the human lila. She is not asking anything for herself but for earth and man. Hence all alternate possibilities must be exhausted before the supreme consummation is allowed. What She asks there will become the template for the future aspiration of mankind hence the full range of evolutionary possibilities must be exhausted.Β
