There are two paths of yoga as have always been known. The first is an excessive reliance upon oneself, one’s own efforts, etc. This leads to periods of extreme exhaustion from time to time, with recoils and relapses more frequent. The other relies primarily on the Divine Mother’s Grace even while doing whatever one can do. Here one relies primarily on faith and surrender. This is, as the Gita says, an easier, happier, as well as a more complete path. Here is a word of encouragement from The Mother herself.
‘Never forget that you are not alone. The Divine is with you helping and guiding you. He is the companion who never fails, the friend whose love comforts and strengthens. Have faith and He will do everything for you.’
