AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Is intuition the same as the Psychic Being, or are they different? How can I distinguish a true psychic movement from my own thoughts, emotions, or desires? 🕊️✨

Intuition is a faculty, a power of higher nature. Psychic being is a being. The faculty of intuition may operate through the psychic being in the inmost heart or through the higher vaster mental being. The psychic being invariably turns us spontaneously towards the Right and the Light by its power of a spontaneous intuitive discernment. It is the seat of faith and aspiration, the vehicle of true beauty and love. Its main action is to turn the consciousness towards the Divine, towards Truth and Beauty and Good. Unlike the mind, vital and physical that labour under ignorance, the psychic has a spontaneous intuitive knowledge that points always towards the Truth. It is the core, the centre of the human consciousness, our true individual self, a portion of the Divine. The mind, life and body are its instruments, parts of Nature.

Affectionately,

The difference between thought and action is a most common difficulty. Its reason is not that the physical mind gets into an obsessive mode. It creates difficulty in decision, an indecisiveness because the mind wants to know with certainty that the decision is correct and the action will bring the desired results.
