AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

I’ve found great help in organising my life through a disciplined routine, which has changed my internal state in a major way. Nowadays, I wake up at 5, swim for several kilometers every morning, and practice pranayama 8 inhale, 8 hold, 8 exhale.πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ[…]

One question that has interested me is whether it is possible to use pranayama to improve sports performance. In swimming, especially, your lung capacity is a major factor in your endurance, and elite swimmers are able to hold their breath for 5+ minutes. Additionally, I noticed that even the quality of my training depends on the reservoir of energy that I subjectively feel inside myself. That is why I am curious as to how pranayama can be used to amplify vitality and increase sports performance. What is the process underlying it, and what is the best method?

Pranayama literally means mastery over the life force. It most certainly helps improve in every area of life. But one should learn it properly through a teacher qualified to teach it.

Affectionately,
