If it’s with respect to His Manifested form, so many slokas will not be applicable to people at all times because they might have seen or known Sri Krishna or may not. I know Sri Krishna; I believe in Him, His Leelas, etc by my birth in a Vaishnava family, but how will an ordinary man know, believe? Is it not like Jesus declaring his Divinity? So it’s more of a personal form and name? Is it?
Much later, after the war is over, Sri Krishna himself confirms that the Gita was delivered in a Superconscious state and hence cannot be replicated. Though he does oblige the Pandavas by revealing its truths in the Royal Assembly leisurely after the War. The work is often called as the second Gita. But essentially, the Gita was given in a state of Superconsciousness so the words Maam, Aham, etc. do not refer either to the earthly human personality of Sri Krishna nor to Atman in general. He himself makes it clear that he had given this yoga first to Vivasvan, the Sun-god, which predates creation or at least the present chaturyuga. He also speaks of his birth by pressing upon his own nature, prakritisvam adhisthaya. He also speaks of assuming a body whenever adharma rises and confirms that He is the womb of all creatures, etada yonihi, while Paraprakriti that forms the Jiva is his own power. Clearly, He is neither referring to His then-earthly personality nor to the one Atman present in all, even though He is these also.
