AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Referring SriAurobindo on “The yoga and its objects”, SriAurobindo says. “You must put aside what you want and wish to know what God wants; distrust what your heart, your passions or your habitual opinions prefer to hold as right and necessary, and passing beyond them, like Arjuna in the Gita, seek only to know what God has set down as right and necessary.” How  am I to know if my  choice of this yoga is God’s wish, He has set it right and necessary  or my heart’s passion?🏹🐎 🛞⚖️

Because not all are taken into any yoga as per their choice.

All being taken is a big thing. But the Call to this yoga is certainly there, otherwise you wouldn’t have felt anything at all, like so many countless others who come and go or read books but never feel the pull. One cannot turn towards the Divine in any form, without the Will of the Divine.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
