AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

What is death😳? What is after death?

Death is simply a dark passage from one life to another. The body is like a house and the circumstances of our life are like a town in which the house of the body is located. The life energy is the power system of the house for supply of water and electricity. The house has a manager too which is our mind. But the owner of the house is our soul. When the house grows old and begins to break down or dangerous creatures begin to live there and the owner is not able to use it much for his true purpose then he choses to shift to another house. Basically the house has become unlivable. Sometimes it is simply because the owner wants to have the experience of another country, hence he leaves the house and moves away even though everything was fine. This moving of the owner soul from one house and town to another is called death. But the owner never dies. The water and electrical system also remains but is no more available for the house that is abandoned. If the manager is good and loyal to the owner he may be taken along to the new place. Otherwise he is also left behind to find some other owner.

After death the soul (owner) undertakes a new journey that passes through bright and dark meadows and mountains, waterfalls and slush, marshy lands and deserts, through dangerous forests or beautiful gardens depending upon how much he has paid for the travel through his actions. He is assisted in this journey by crude o refined drivers again based upon our credit score. Then after resting for sometime in the house of God where all his past is forgotten, all wounds are healed before he moves on to the new house (new body) and new town (circumstances).

Hope it is clear.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Follow up question:

It is just like the solar system. Is it right alok da ?

If you mean that death is an impression just as night is an impression created when one side of the earth turns its back against the sun, then it is quite right.

Namaste Alokda, I have been reflecting on the following passage from The Synthesis of Yoga: “But neither is that order or the execution of the universal will altogether effected by mechanical Law, but by powers and forces of which for human life at least human will, aspiration and faith are not among the least important.” (page-566-567) 📖😊🙏🏻🪷[…]

This is absolutely correct understanding. Very simply put  the Divine Will is not a mechanical determinism but a living conscious process. It will fulfil itself is the first most important fact. But this fulfilment is not through an arbitrary disregarding of all other …

Sri Aurobindo and The Mother often refer to the Bible, so is Christ considered an Avatar like Krishna? If so, why doesn’t He speak of Rebirth? Many sincere Christians believe Christ is the sole path to salvation attainable in just one lifetime. ✝️🦚😊🙏🏻🪷[…]
