AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

What spiritual significance does the planetary parade have🙂 ?

From the occult point of view it means that certain forces that govern our life are coming together and aligning themselves. It is likely to have a beneficial cosmic influence but hardly any spiritual significance. Spiritual consciousness rises way beyond these forces that still belong to the realm of ignorance. As long as we remain tied to the Ignorance they affect and influence us but the moment we start our journey towards the deeper spiritual reality, towards the Divine who is the Master of all, they begin to lose their hold and influence upon us.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Poetry requires an inner hearing, the faculty of  inspiration so to say, just as painting requires an inner vision, a faculty that reveals what is hidden in the form. The technique is a framework which can be developed by practice. The inspiration comes through an inner…

I believe that reading The Secret of the Vedas by Sri Aurobindo gives us the real insight into the meaning of the Vedas and nothing more is needed for spiritual practitioners or for those who are looking to gain genuine spiritual insights. 📚🕉️[…]

The Secret of the Vedas was my first book too along with The Synthesis of Yoga. While it is no doubt a precious treasure (I had felt floating on cloud nine while reading it), it is certainly not enough for the Integral Yoga. Besides, apart from the conceptual understanding, the actual details of the practice for today’s practitioners is …
