Teach the children to be honest and courageous rather than people-pleasers. Let them have few but good friends and ignore the bullies. Tell them with words and show them with example that the greatest moments of life are when one can stand alone if needed and turn those lonely moments into a blessing by reflecting upon the mysteries of life. Children have forgotten this. Our civilisation has given them too many text book answers and robbed them of wonder. Fill them with the spirit of wonder and how to spend time by themselves.
