The debt refers to the fact that Matter and material creation have been formed under the pressure of extremely powerful, destructive forces, such as floods, volcanic eruptions, the drifting of mountains, lightning, etc. In humanity, these forces persist as forces of destruction. They must be resolved and rightly directed, channelised and transmuted into the higher powers of Shiva from which they have emerged. When the old world order, hard and crystallised like the world of Daksha, is destroyed, then humanity will be ready for the harmonious law of Vishnu.
