AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

When in confusion, what to do? When we doubt a situation and it feels spiritually / intuitively correct but materially / logically does not. Heart says yes, but mind says no. And we are stuck swinging like a pendulum. ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ […]

If you want the mind to agree, what to do then? How to have the courage to follow the heart. Ignore the mind’s doubts. Like, for eg., when Savitri had to fight Yama for Satyavan against all odds of a reasoning mind.ย Also read in one of Mothers works – pitfalls of sadhana – that often we confuse emotions and psychic flame to be the same. But it is not. Could you please elaborate?ย When in doubt, one should try to quieten the mind. Truth cannot manifest when the mind is restless and agitated. Quietening oneself is always the first thing necessary.

As to the heart and the head, in general it is better to follow the heart even if it brings unintended results. What one must however try is to make the heart quiet and then feel the little gentle indication in the centre of the chest.

It is not only the heart but the mind also that can deceive. It is therefore always best to share and offer all one’s choices and indications to the Divine before going ahead.

Fear comes when we want particular results. None can assure that. It is a question of destiny. One is given only the right to choose and act, not to determine the results. Leave them in God’s safe hands.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Agreed, Alok da, but not about motive. If it feels negative and energies heavy – pulling you down then ok to say no, right and detach, why tug along.. like how you told me on vital interactions. I feel itโ€™s draining me – even these friendships now – I did ask you earlier too – and Iโ€™m not being upfront about it and just carrying along to be nice societally.. but it doesnโ€™t serve me now.. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ […]
