AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Who are the Lord of Falsehood and the Lord of Death in Hindu tradition? Are they the same as Ravana and Kumbhakarna? 🙂🙏🏻🪷

The Lord of Falsehood imitates the truth he denies. Ravana, Paundraka Vasudeva, Putana, Kansa, or the original first Asura Hiranyakashipu would fit the description. Lord of Death is more difficult to find. He not only sets limits to the possibilities of life but stifles all efforts to a true life in the manifestation. Hiranyaksha, Kumbhakaran, Apsamar, Aghasura do have shades of it. However, the Mother is speaking here of the four original Asuras and not their subtle or gross instruments on the corresponding planes. The four original Asuras are the opposites and opponents of the four original Divine Principles, Sat or Truth, Chit or Consciousness, Tapas or Force, Bliss or Ananda, the Sacchidananda with the four original Godheads within it known to us as Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Krishna.

The four original Asuras are Falsehood, Unconsciousness or Death, Weakness who robs of all strength and, Suffering who takes away the natural joy of being and thrusts us into abysses of Depression. This seems a much more complete and logical description than any I have read till now.

The moment the so-called elders meet a young man who’s just into two to three years of graduation, the very first question they ask is “What’s your Package?”. 👴🏼👨🏼‍💼💼🏢🥀[…]

It is not Darwinism but copy-catism if one wants to coin a word. The reason however is twofold. Partly it is due to the strong awakening of Rajas in a society that was, for a rather long time oppressed, supressed and made to feel low, in one word tamas. This is a resurgence of excessive rajas which will sooner or later stabilise and, given the …
