AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Who is a prophet? Is he an Avatar? Vibhuthi of The Divine? Or is he a saint or sage, or Rishi? Or a fortune teller? Or a founder of a Religion? โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒ„โœจ[…]

Or the founder of the Future Humanity of his time? Or Trikala Gyani? Or simply a realised Soul, or a Spiritual Master? Who is he? What are his commonalities with the above mentioned names?

The word Prophet is used in two ways. The first and most common usage is that he is a messenger of God. It is in this sense that the term has been used for Prophet Mohammad as he claimed to be sent by God to give his message to the people of Arabia. It was a message for local and contextual purposes, never meant to be universal and for all times. That is what the Quran was meant to be. Unfortunately, his followers believed the message was for the whole world and used his words as a weapon to fulfil political ambitions. That led to successive distortions and the eventual disintegration of Islam into a purely political tool, making it dangerous for the whole world.ย

It is also used for someone who can foresee the future. The degree and extent obviously differ since seeing the future depends upon the plane from where you see it and the clarity of your vision and understanding. It is like people earlier used an elementary technology to predict the future. Then they saw a little more through drones and the aircraft, but much more correctly through the satellite. So one can see a little bit of the immediate future through telepathy, clairvoyance, etc., a little more through subtle yogic vision and faculties of inspiration, revelation, intuition. But the complete picture is through the Divine Vision, which is what gives trikaladristi.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da
