She had a very calm and beautiful smile and kept looking at me. I also kept looking at her for a long time and felt peaceful. Throughout the dream, I was wondering why she did not look like the Mother’s physical form.
Later, a Guru appeared, held my hands, and seemed to perform a yajna, but my whole attention remained on that woman who was seating behind with the lion and was watching all this.
I have recently registered for the Linga Bhairavi consecration by Sadhguru. The reason is that, during my very busy ophthalmology residency, I feel I have lost the intensity of my spiritual practice. I still pray to the Mother, but I no longer feel the same inner strength as before. That is why I am pushing myself to attend this consecration, hoping it will help me become more sincere and intense in my sadhana.
The woman you saw was certainly an aspect of Durga. The guru is the priest invoking her and putting you in contact with her. It is quite possible that it was an occult ritual ceremony, a kind of dream initiation in response to your application for the Linga Bhairavi registration. The deity must have been drawn to you specifically due to your inner connection with The Mother. It is clearly not a dream but a dream experience, in fact a dream initiation. My intuitive feeling is that your registration for the course is also not a random chance but the revival of some past sadhana of this or related form.
Affectionately
