I would like to seek your guidance on a question that has been arising repeatedly in my inner journey. There comes a point where one begins to see clearly that most human relationships are deeply egocentric. Through my marriage, the Divine turned me into a true aspirant. Earlier, I used to over-explain myself, talk excessively, give advice, and try to fix people. Since Mother and Sri Aurobindo have come into my life, I feel like a different person altogether. On this path, I am changing completelyβ€”my way of working, eating, speaking, relating, everything. At times, a doubt quietly appears: Is this all good? Is this taking me away from human relationships?πŸ‘₯πŸ€πŸ€πŸ«‚

Doesn’t this approach multiples the effect later on as we are trying suppress instead of letting go? Or is it that, we don’t care what thought or desire are there and we fully try to concentrate on our aspiration or divine?πŸ™…πŸ«ΈπŸ’¨πŸ›‘

Rejection of the impulses and movements of lower nature means several things together.

It is not to be occupied with the satisfaction of desires

In one of your recent recordings , you mentioned that “You too prayed for the diversion of cyclone from Pondicherry for all incoming devotees to ashram”. But, you told as if you didn’t want to do the prayer as a regular practice. But, Mother says that we can ask her and involve her in all day to day things. And when She is making impossible things as possible on earth, why shouldn’t we ask for eradication of any kind of disharmony in nature or life?Β Why should any other force on earth shall function when it is actually creation of our Mother?Β πŸŒͺοΈπŸ™πŸŒβ›ˆοΈ

IΒ have been reading works of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother since last 6-7 years, but i have not read any particular volume from start to the end. I find difficult to read continuously, as reading their works makes me feel like getting away from my usual readings of medical books, which I have to read as part of my medical career.πŸ“šβœοΈπŸ“œβ™ΎοΈ

I find easy to read the small booklets compiled by A S Dalal sir, where i find it easy to navigate through topics and read
