Questions on Mother, Sri Aurobindo and Savitri

I want to ask if it is considered a sin to have a relationship or friendship while staying in the ashram? I live in pondy with my mother, who also works here in ashram. I have a friend, but my mother doesn’t like him. Whenever I meet him or do something against her wishes, she gets angry, abuses me, and starts fighting with me. I lose control of myself during these fights and end up crying😭.

Getting angry, screaming, fighting are far worse things than friendship. Friendship has never been a taboo in the Ashram as long as it doesn’t lead

Savitri had cosmic realisation before the death of Satyavan. Mother says once one has the psychic realisation one gets free from all the fears. Because fear comes from unconsciousness. Here Savitri is not just conscious about her soul, she has even discovered the cosmic consciousness. But this first line in below paragraph of Canto “Death in the Forest” indicates about grief and fear 🙄 “All grief and fear were dead within her now

There is no fear for herself but grief at the fate of human beings who suffer at the hands of death quite mercilessly. It is

Lately whenever I read from the works of Mother and Sri Aurobindo, I understand that the writings reveals the truth to me. But if somehow, I speak with people who have a different set of ideals and values on the subject, sometimes contradictory, I feel that they might still be seeing only a part of the truth. I do not believe that the whole truth has revealed itself to me yet, and I also read the sentences, “When a thing is true, you can be sure that it’s opposite is also true””It (the truth) will manifest itself for those who are sincere and attentive” So, is my feeling and wish (as I mentioned above) coming from my ego? Or is it an egoistic desire? What should I then feel, except to keep walking with the Mother and Sri Aurobindo towards the union🙂?

Yes even the greatest and vastest Truth is limited by the human mind into a one-sided formula. Hence the opposite is also true. What is

There are days when you experience a sense of detachment from The Mother. The pain of being apart is so intense 😣 that even the simplest task, like breathing, feels overwhelming. At times, everything flows smoothly like a gentle breeze. How do we cope when we encounter this sense of disconnection, as it often takes a long time to regain our footing? Even after listening to Her music or reading, it feels like you’re starting from scratch?

This happens to everyone and often for a long time because our consciousness is divided. There are different parts with different needs, there are desires

All are not same in the power and effect. If it were so then the Divine would not assume different names and forms simply to cater to the different needs of different individuals depending upon each one’s stage of evolution.” Does it mean we have to invoke different deities for different powers? Is there any specific form of The Divine Mother 😇 which can bestow all virtues?

The Divine Mother is the original Power, Adya Shakti. If we invoke Her then She does what is needed, gives or takes away whatever is

My life aim is to read all the books of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo and sincerely follow the path they have outlined. However, when I share this with my loved ones, they tell me this is not a true aim and accuse me of avoiding my life responsibilities by following this path. They question whether this teaching encourages cutting oneself off from the world. They just don’t understand😥.

I can fully understand that. This is partly because the yoga and the divine possibility they bring is very new and men generally have a
