AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I do understand what you said about the surgery. But my confusion is still there. I know both Sri Aurobindo and The Mother were against surgery. They were both working on their own bodies. Even in last days Sri Aurobindo registered medicine. Were they against surgery on themselves or for every one?๐Ÿค’๐Ÿ’Š๐Ÿ›Œ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฉบ

Lets take my case, – after many MRIs and CT Scans, where we can actually see they problem, would they have been against trying to fix the problem and give me some quality of life? The more I think about everything more I get confused.

The Mother and Sri Aurobindo generally adviced against surgery to all their disciples. Of course there were those who went ahead with it due to fear and faith in modern medicine.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da
