Ask Alok da

Β I was listening to your talks on Essays on Gita, and in one of them, you were talking about doing work disinterested. I could not quite understand whether this meant disinterested in the result or the work itself. πŸ“˜πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒΌ

Disinterested means not because of personal interest, for the gains one might get from it. It is not lack of interest but the absence of any selfish motive in the work.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
