I was listening to your talks on Essays on the Gita, and in one of them, you were talking about doing work disinterested. I could not quite understand whether this meant disinterested in the result or the work itself. 📘😊🙏🏻🌼

Disinterested means not because of personal interest, for the gains one might get from it. It is not a lack of interest but the absence of any selfish motive in the work.

Human beings are not equipped to love perfectly. If you still want to try and learn through hard experience then so be it. In any case love is something that happens if it has to happen. But remember love and demand do not go together. Either one can get the joy of loving by loving someone truly. Or else one can suffer in the hope and expectation of being loved and finding the perfect partner and match.
