AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

In one of your recent recordings , you mentioned that “You too prayed for the diversion of cyclone from Pondicherry for all incoming devotees to ashram”. But, you told as if you didn’t want to do the prayer as a regular practice. But, Mother says that we can ask her and involve her in all day to day things. And when She is making impossible things as possible on earth, why shouldn’t we ask for eradication of any kind of disharmony in nature or life?Β Why should any other force on earth shall function when it is actually creation of our Mother?Β πŸŒͺοΈπŸ™πŸŒβ›ˆοΈ

Dada, may be I have misunderstood something, please clarify.

The cosmic forces have their own role in the world play. They too have emerged from the Divine Mother and there is a reason why She has allowed them. The Mother herself did not want to interfere arbitrarily. And if the Divine started granting every prayer of every human being in their present state of ignorance then the world would soon be in a much worse chaos. That is why not to insist on one’s wishes but surrendering to the Divine Will is the first and last word of spiritual life and the highest wisdom. It implies that the Mother knows best and if She wants to change things She doesn’t need our advice and prayers. She will do it Herself.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

It’s not at the cost of other values. Most of the Vedic Gurus discredit this line of thought(from Shraman padhatti). It’s sad but true. πŸ₯ΈπŸ•ŠοΈπŸͺ·πŸŒ„

I am not sure how this impression came across that this saying is about gods and deities. It is indeed, as you say, one of the main foundational principles of Sanatana Dharma, yet one of the least understood as far as its practice is concerned. …
