What happens when a lower mind comes in contact with a person with a highly sattwic mind – they get awkward/uncomfortable. Aura bothers them? See their own inadequacies/flaws? 🧠🌱

When two different layers of mind come in contact with each other, let’s say a sattwic mind and the other rajasic, then it may lead to conflict. But a tamasic mind will remain indifferent. It is only if one comes in contact with the spiritual mind that the inadequacies may be seen, leading either to an urge for progress and change or else a turning away from the person because of the pressure for change that is sometimes felt in the presence of a spiritual mind. However, if the person is ready, then the presence of a person with a developed spiritual mind may be inspiring and even a great help for progress. It all depends upon the other person’s readiness and capacity.

Self giving to the Divine is more than selflessness. Selflessness loosens the knot of the ego but still we may not act according to the Divine Will. Bhishma was quite selfless renouncing the throne and serving as a shield to the throne of Hastinapur defending the king regardless of who he was. But he was acting in opposition to the Divine Will.
