I just read your text about Trump’s election. Would one have preferred Kamala Harris to be elected🤨 ?  Trump, in certain respects, is a detestable figure, but he has just appointed Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health. In the fight against globalism and the GAFA mafia, Kennedy Jr. has assets. He has denounced the COVID narrative and the manipulation of the masses. I dare to hope that Trump will be able to propose a diplomatic solution to end the war in Ukraine. Napoleon, in certain respects, was a detestable figure, and yet Sri Aurobindo saw him as a Vibuti (divine manifestation). Manifestation, isn’t it, is a very complex process?

My faith was that the Divine will make the right choice, but when Trump won, for some time I had questioned my faith, but afterwords I myself realized that faith can not be questioned if it was genuine. And after that I became calm. I realized my ‘faith’ was for short term. Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga is not for individual but for the whole humanity. Yes, many of my friends from India are happy the Trump won because his policies are good for India. But us, who are trying to walk the spiritual path, shouldn’t we concentrate on morality of the leader? And Trump is totally amoral person. For Mexicans who are crossing the border illegally,he calls them animals, his quotes about women are so demeaning they make me cringe. When White supremacists attacked some black people, Trump, when he was President, said, they, white suprematists were “good people”. When he wanted to go take a picture in front of this particular church, he ordered police officers to spray tear gas on people who were peacefully holding a protest rally. On Jan 6th when his supporters marched on Capitol, and when they were chanting kill Mike Pence, his VP, he sat in front of TV without saying a word! So even if he might make some right decisions, shouldn’t we chose our leader who has some moral value😫? I am not saying Harris is an angel, but she definitely was better of the two.

I did not say that the soul has created ignorance. My submission was – The world is created only when the soul chooses to cover itself with ignorance. If she does this then can’t we assume that she wants to enjoy the world, its joy & pain, strength & weakness, evil & goodness? I have been working hard to get Kamla Harris get elected. As you know Donald Trump won and has won convincingly. I am sure Republicans think differently, but us Democrats we think that Trump is not good for US or the world. His ambitions are to become a dictator. I, we worry that if Trump, Un, Xi, Putin, Netanyahu and Mush get together it will be a disaster😱. Actually I had had a vision last year about this and that is why I got politically involved. You had given me an example of Ramayan and Mahabharat recently, on the day of elections as results started coming in I was first numb, as Americans have elected him unanimously! That night as I was meditating, I realized the example of Ramayan and Mahabharat, that it had to get so bad and ugly before the Divine intervention. But does that mean we have to wait till that times comes, or is there anything we can do so it won’t happen?
