Given the immensity and the complexity of merely the universe, it would be absurd and even haughty to believe that AI can solve all the problems of life. Besides the material universe that we know is only one such universe. There are possibly others with different dimensions that yet remain unguessed, let alone probed. AI can piece together multiple pieces of information and collate them quickly. So, as a tool for information, it is excellent, indeed superhuman as far as memory and information go. But human beings and the universe we inhabit are much more complex than pieces of information and memory. We are also thoughts and feelings, prayers and aspirations, hope and desires, above all the seekings of the soul and the love and wisdom, above all the Divine Will working within creation, and many other aspects and forces assembled together in a little bodily box. AI is just another machine. By being too much preoccupied with AI, there is a real danger that man himself becomes a machine. AI, like everything else, is a tool, a powerful tool if used rightly. It can never replace a human being. It is only through an identification with the Source and Origin of creation, the Creator himself, that we can know all. Besides, isn’t it the most fascinating adventure, call it possibilities if you like, that we can meet the Creator!
Surely alien life exists and plenty, not only in the material form, but plenty of other forms. But again, what can be more fascinating than to meet the Creator of all these countless forms teeming in the multiverse.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
