Questions on Mother, Sri Aurobindo and Savitri

This question is from one of Mother’s Prayers: A teaching can be profitable only if it is perfectly sincere, that is, if it is lived while it is being given, and words often repeated, thoughts expressed frequently can no longer be sincere…Why should oft repeated words or thoughts become insincere? Is Mother saying that by doing it we become attached to the outer shell than to the inner Truth🤔?

Words are vehicles meant to carry certain vibrations through the medium of speech. The vibrations are contributed by the spontaneous movements of the inner being.

When Mother writes in her prayers: “The tide🌊 of materialistic thoughts is always on the watch, waiting for the least weakness, and if we relax but one moment from our vigilance, if we are even slightly negligent, it rushes in and invades us from all sides, submerging under its heavy flood the result sometimes of numberless efforts.” What is the materialism she is referring to? General everyday external preoccupation with material things, or the scientific Materialism that can creep in sometimes and upset our beliefs in Divine by convincing us that only the external is real?

I’m just starting to read Savitri🕊️, and was just wondering about the general and deeper synopsis. The story itself is based on a story from MahaBharata? But I’ve heard some people say also that though the story is based on that, that Savitri is the representation of the spiritual evolution of the Soul and Satyavan is the Spiritual Destiny? I’m a bit confused on the grand symbolic meaning of the epic.

As to the story of Savitri and Satyavan it is narrated in the Mahabharata as well as Brahmvaivarta Purana as a tale of conjugal love
